OUR VISION

Since 1993 Bike to the Sea has been working to create the Northern Strand Trail: a trail free of cars from the Malden/Everett area of Massachusetts to the beaches in Revere, Lynn and Nahant. That dream is now close to reality as portions of the trail are under construction.

A LITTLE HISTORY

The Northern Strand Community Trail runs along the former route of the Saugus Branch Railroad, which operated passenger service from 1853 to 1958.
